Mike Andrews (MLAA) has been making fine jewellery since he retired from a sucessful career as a television documentary producer and writer with the BBC. His world-wide travels to remote areas, his first education as a engineer, and his award-winning programmes on the natural world and archaeology have all combined to give him a wide experience of creative design and craftsmanship. Collecting native and historic objects and designs has been the inspiration for much of his hand-made jewellery. Whether pre-columbian ceramics or Brazilian green gold and gemstones, he prefers to discover or buy materials on site, giving his jewellery a uniquely personal, unrepeatable and collectable quality.

I was responsible for the development of the site, the client had a clear perspective of the design which enabled it to be created in an agile environment. This meant keeping communication levels with the client at a high during the key development stages of the project.
One of the original requirements for this site was to have an image magnification feature. Unfortunately the client decided not to use it on the final site, but was developed in Adobe Flash using action script. To see an example of this feature please click the image to your right.
